I've created this blog not to up my status or to brag or any of that nonsense.
I've created this blog for me. I want to be able to look at what I've done in the fashion land and what I've worn.
If you're reading this and desire to follow..that would make me happy to know that I'm not the only person interested in my life.
I will try and post daily and talk about the world around me. I will include pictures from my macbook featuring outfits i wear and such. but sometimes daily is difficult to reach.
as of right now I attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising majoring in Visual Communications. I'm an assistant for a local Los Angeles fashion stylist, Djuna Bel.
She was kind enough to take me under her wing and showing me the ropes.
I'm learning fast and i greatly appreciate what I am doing.
My goal: move to New York when I graduate June 2011 and place a job at a magazine and freelance style on the side.
if you have questions about FIDM or styling or whatever..just contact me.
i'm here to give the low down on FIDM and all of its "glitz and glamour"
I USUALLY WONT WRITE THIS MUCH
hey,
ReplyDeleteso your clothes are really great. i'm sorry to hear about all of that bad stuff you went through. hope things get better. I'm suppost to be going to fidm this summer for visual communications. is it a good major? cause i'm kinda thinking of switching to fashion design..
hey! sorry it took so long to reply. just noticed the comment.
ReplyDeletei think vcom is the best major because it offers so much of a variety. you can basically do anything that you want.
fashion design is only geared toward that and that only..it is the toughest major. my roomate is an fd major..and she gets crazy stressed out.
and thank you for giving me sympathy ahaha
no worries. I imagine it's going to be super stressful. I was originally gonna be in vcom, but i ended up switching into fashion. Oh well, guess i'll have to work 3 times as hard. :) Thanks for answering my questions I appreciate it
